About Eric's Porter-Haus
Eric's Porter-Haus provides a memorable dining experience in a historically classic 19th century home. The Greek Revival style house was built in 1848 by industrialist Isaac Lain. Former Waukesha mayor Edward Estberg resided in the home from 1904 to 1944. Prior to its latest incarnation as Eric's Porter Haus, it was the home of the American Legion.
